Blogging

I just found out that one of my friends has a blog. Her blog, unlike mine, is extremely well written. She is also a much, much better and wittier writer than I. Each entry is well thought out and conveys an entire editorial on the subject, including introduction, points/counterpoints, and a conclusion...

I know it's a generalization (which I try to avoid), but from my blog reading experience, I blog like how a lot of guys blog (and how we shop). Get in, make the point (get the thing), get out. Do it in one sitting. You are done.
My friend however writes multiple drafts of her blog before she publishes them. She includes poetry and famous quotes. I never save a draft.
She does write at a much deeper level than what I publish. I guess how much you want to expose your thoughts to the world has something to do with it...

That's it for now. One sitting, get in, get out. :)

1632

Someone recently introduced me to this set of books by Eric Flint.
I was a bit intrigued initially so I read the book. The book is absolutely a fun read even if it is not too deep. Although a sci-fi book, it was more romance/story-telling driven than the techno-thrillers that I normally peruse.

The sequels are appended to the end of the queue. Hmm that gives me an idea.... :)
